Minor Works Project Manager
Location - Worcester & Surrounding Areas
Contract type - x6 month Term
Salary - £250-£350 p/day
An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager has arisen working on with a global facilities management company delivering FM Minor Work upgrades across the UK. The multiple Projects you will be required to manage will vary from £35k - in excess of £1M.
Duties
- Ensuring all project works are compliant to CDM 2015.
- Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks
- Ensure SHEQ & Paperwork Compliance is fully embedded in each project.
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end". Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties.
- Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s) whilst ensuring customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans.
- Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
- Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Sector Director in an agreed format along with identifying opportunities through visibility and presence on customer sites.
- Build strong effective working relationships with our customers and site teams.
You will need to demonstrate full accountability for the P&L on previous FM projects with Commercial objectives met . Display experience within variances and corrective actions taken. Previous experience of site QHSE implementation and monitoring. End to End Project management with the closing out all final accounts with both the customer and all those in the supply chain.
You will be required to complete a Security Vetting Process in order to operate the Project portfolios.
