Maintenance Electrician
Location- Falmer (Sussex)
Temp to Perm contract
Monday to Friday- 40 hours per week 8.00am till 17.00pm
Hourly rate; £12.02 per hour (equivalent to £25,000 per annum) negotiable depending on experience
Working for a Leading facilities maintenance company on their busy Local Authority Contract as a maintenance Electrician on site on Campus,
The Maintenance Electrician will be Carrying out PPM / reactive tasks and small electrical installations. They must have a full working knowledge of HVAC building services, water treatment, BMS systems etc.
Main Responsibilities for the Maintenance Electrician
- Able to prioritisation tasks from PPM's and Helpdesk Requests, Reacting to breakdowns and changing priorities
- Delivery of planned, routine & reactive maintenance to all building plant, equipment and systems
- Ability to stay calm during major incidents and relay accurate information to the site supervisor
- Test and Inspection of BMS Systems - fault diagnosis
- Understanding the operational requirements of a large estate
- Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept
- Able update jobs on a computer based system and react to breakdowns and changing priorities
Candidates must have experience in the building services plus City & Guilds qualifications in electrical / 17th edition
