Catering Shift Supervisor
Location; Stratford (East London)
Hourly £12.00 per hour
Contract/ Temp/Perm
Working hours; 8am - 6pm Mon - Thurs, 8am - 7pm Fri - Sun, (Events may over run- Flexibility required)
Recruiting for a Catering Shift Supervisor for a high-profile venue with specialising in Corporate Events and Hospitality based in East London for a Multi-National Facilities Maintenance company
Main duties on behalf of the Catering Shift Supervisor
- Responsible in assisting with the smooth running of café bar and hospitality events.
- Direct staff on a daily basis to ensure smooth service delivery
- Ensure café bar is kept clean and tidy
- Café bar setup and cash-up/ close
- Lead events set up, service delivery and wrap up with both front and back of house teams
- Till system management/ reporting
- Manage back of house storage areas to ensure all are kept organised/ tidy and stocked as necessary
- Monitor the quality and presentation of the food together with the delivery of service
- Identify stock levels and take a proactive approach to ensure all stock and equipment required to deliver the service are available
- Be a frontline escalation point for both staff and customer queries
- Comply all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
- Assist with training if required
- Assist with organising shifts/ rotas as required
- Able to speak with customers to identify new products or menu items to enhance service offering
- Calculate GP's for new products/ menu items
- Feedback/ escalate queries to management teams as necessary
