Salary £45,000- £47,000 per annum
Permanent contract
The Building is operational 24 hours a day/7 days a week so you will be required to work a shift pattern to cover these hours.
Working on a prestigious portfolio in Cardiff, we are looking to identify a Qualified AP Engineer to focus on ensuring the electrical/ mechanical services within the building are maintained, repaired, upgraded, and inspected as necessary in order to maintain business continuity, improve energy efficiency and comply with statutory and contract requirements.
- The role will involve scheduling planned preventative maintenance tasks with subcontractors, overseeing their work and maintaining records of their visits.
- In addition, you will also be required to carry out hands on planned preventative maintenance tasks on the electrical/ mechanical services.
- Plan and carry out switching requirements on the HV and LV network.
- Keep maintenance records up to date and ensure they are completed
If not already qualified, you will undertake an electrical HV training programme to enable you to become HV authorised and operate the HV network in a safe manner.
Essential
- Electrical/Mechanical trade qualification
- LV AP training and evidence of experience
- Knowledge and experience of Legionella control measures
- Demonstrable experience of a range of mechanical services - ventilation, chilled water, heating, domestic water supplies etc
- SSSTS or IOSH Working Safely
The successful candidate will be required to go through a level of security clearance.
