£15-£18 p/h ltd. (NEGOTIABLE)
We are urgently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler on behalf of a global Engineering & Manufacturing company, based close to Heathrow Airport.
Job Description
- Mechanical assembly type activity working to verbal instructions.
- In line with Skill set Support as necessary activity associated to the Igloo project e.g. taking scrap tooling to skip,
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Assembling parts by hand, Wire cutting to various identified lengths, using various hand held tools: Operating various machines to include: Dot Marking. Foot operated Wire coiling machine, Aqueous cleaning machine, Vacuum Furnace, Peening machine.
Assembly operator
Duties include:
- Tube coiling
- Loading and unloading
- Aqueous cleaner
- Vacuum Furnace
- Cutting wire to length
- Operating Dot marking tool
- Coiling wire elements by hand
- Light mechanical assembly
- Hot work using Bunsen burner
Qualifications
- Only Basic qualification required.
Due to the location of the client, you MUST have access to your own transport, as public transport is extremely limited.
Candidates are only permitted to commence contract upon receipt of 3 years' worth of written references and completion of a DBS security check.
