Quality Assurance Manager
Location; Berkshire (Windsor)
Monday to Friday 37 hrs per week
Hours of work 0800- 1630- 30 mins lunch
0800- 1300
Permanent contract
Salary £35,000 per annum
Working for an up and coming Electronics Manufacturer in Berkshire (Windsor), urgently recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager who will be dedicated to looking after the clients internal systems which would include
- Internal auditing
- Continuous improvement
- ISO system maintenance
- Supporting process improvement
- Customer liaison
- KPI / Data analysis
- Managing customer returns
- IPC / Electronics standard expert
- Investigations / 8Ds
Reporting to the Operations Director however also being involved within the management team, key duty to ensure all engineering skills are at a high quality to assist in delivery and improvements
You will be handling customer issues as and when they occur require investigation and then corrective and preventative actions taken.
This will require data, analysis and a level-headed approach to problem solving.
Six Sigma skills would be ideal along with the interpersonal skills to engage with customers directly.
The ideal candidate:
- Experienced quality engineer/manager of at least 5 years.
- Proven track record within electronics manufacturing / IPC
- Training / qualifications in Six Sigma
- The capability to teach others.
- The gravitas to command respect and be heard.
