Luton, LU4
Temp to Perm
Monday – Friday
£13 p/h
The Estate Maintenance Operative position would be working within a busy environment completing a wide range of maintenance tasks for NHS accommodation.
As an Estate Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance duties in accordance with relevant health and safety policies,
- Maximising site occupancy by ensuring the void maintenance schedule is completed within a specific time frame,
- Providing high quality painting and decorating services,
- Making sure all windows, doors, kitchen units and furniture are in working order,
- Maintaining onsite facilities by repairing or replacing items when necessary,
- Responding to emergencies in and out of hours including making safe basic glazing, leaks, lighting, and trip hazards,
- Provide a monthly repairs/maintenance report to the accommodation manager highlighting any major or cyclical works which may be required in the future.
The suitable candidate will have experience in handy person/ maintenance work, they will also have basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting, and decorating skills.
