South London
26k-35k dependent on experience + £4,000 travel allowance
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join their team. Working as part of a global business spanning across the world, the Key Account Manager would be joining our client at a very exciting time having the chance to make a huge impact helping the company continue their journey.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with Key Account customers, whilst contributing knowledge of the market back to the business.
- Personally ensure key stakeholders are contacted, visited and engaged with appropriately to maintain credible relationships.
- To actively canvass and convert new business opportunities from both identified incoming leads and cold-calling target accounts, where an established presence and knowledge of the key client contacts would be an advantage.
- Planning and implementing long term sales action plans in line with sales, marketing and CRM objectives.
- Understanding of technologies and systems in the market and how these can be harnessed by the business and the customer base for maximum effect.
- Strategic thinking and understanding to deliver bespoke solutions to large organisations with complex requirements.
- Selling the full range of solutions to ensure opportunities are fully maximised.
- Setting first class standards of planning, preparation, communication and negotiation.
- Presentation of propositions, ideas and strategies to board level decision makers and stakeholders.
- Negotiation of high value and long term contracts.
- Delivery of outstanding results against highly challenging targets.
- Networking with clients and suppliers at a senior level to ensure market and customer intelligence are at the standards required by the customer base.
- Liaising with internal departments effectively to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to the customer base.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Experience of selling to large organisations at a senior level.
- First class negotiation skills with experience of contract negotiation with procurement.
- A proven track record of sales excellence in a competitive market place.
- A proven track record of complex solution selling.
- First class planning and organisation skills.
- First class verbal and written communication skills.
