Testing & Inspection (T&I) Electrician
Location: East Kilbride (South Lanarkshire)
Contract Mon-Fri 40 hours/per week
Salary: £38K per annum
Urgently looking for an experienced electrician to deliver a highly professional, customer focused service for our FM Provider at a static site focusing on testing and inspection. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and who is willing to assist on various jobs within the site with a happy to help manner.
Duties (not Limited to):- To ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety
- Carry out scheduled electrical testing and inspection tasks such as PAT, ECIR, Illumination levels & infra-red.
- Find Fault and carry out repairs
- Respond to re-active works as well as PPM's
- Assist in method statements/ risk assessments.
- Supervise sub-contractor's work
- To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours
- To report all incidents and accidents
- To maintain all statutory records up to date
- To complete all administrative functions efficiently (using paper logbooks or IT software)
Essential Skills:
- ECS Gold Card Installation Electrician
- C&G 2391, or equivalent Testing & Inspection
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
Desirable Skills:
- CMMS (SAM FM)
- ISOH/Safety Passport
