Various Shift Patterns:
- Mon – Thu
- Fri – Sun
Please note all shifts are on a rotation of two weeks of days then two weeks of nights;
- Day Shift: 6am-5.30pm.
- Night Shift: 6pm-5.30am.
***However please note training will take place during the weekdays
Rate of Pay
It is dependent on the shift pattern and your experience:
The Mon-Thu shift pays from £9-£11. The Fri-Sun shift pays from £11-£14.50
Job Description:
Working in a busy manufacturing & production area, for a large engineering company. These roles offer an opportunity to join a world-renowned company, who are specialists in their field.
Working within a team of Technical Assembly Operators, Support Engineers & Team Leaders you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe and accurate assembly of subsea telecommunications equipment.
MAIN DUTIES
- Undertake assembly processes, ensuring all ESD product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly built and tested.
- Using electronic assembly skills & expertise to ensure product is built to acceptable quality
- Liaising with other departments and Supervisors to ensure the timely build and transfer of your product.
- Following Engineering drawings and specifications
- Assisting in other departments as necessary
Previous soldering experience is desired; this can be from any educational, personal or industry experience.
