Electrical Technician
Locations; City of London
Temp
Up to £18.50 per hour
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Urgently looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to deliver a highly professional, customer focused service for our static client based in London.
Duties
participate in Safety Visits, rectifying any safety observations made
Perform electrical isolations of circuits, equipment & plant for themselves & others.
Ensure PPM records and paperwork are up to date and correctly filed in the site log books. Attends reactive tasks and emergency breakdowns as required.
Ensure all PPM's & reactive works are completed within the specified SLA
Show understanding and working from mechanical / electrical schematics.
Co-ordinating electrical shutdowns / reinstatement of services following loss of power.
Responsible for the supervision of sub-contracted works
proficient in the use of proprietary computer systems to keep in line with contract requirements. This would include BMS systems, automatic controls, email, word, excel etc.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
electrical City and Guilds qualifications to at least GNVQ/GSVQ level II.
17th or 18th Edition IEE Regs.
City & Guilds Electrical Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
City & Guilds Electrical Installation BS 7671 (or equivalent)
City & Guilds Building Services Accreditation (or equivalent)
Emergency First Aid
PAT – Portable Appliance Testing
