Looking for an assembly and testing technician to join a small team within a global telecommunications company that specialise in subsea telecommunication equipment and fibre optic technology.
Summary of main duties of an Assembly and Testing Technician:
- Support Manufacturing activities for new / existing products
- Disassemble/assemble test Equipment components (fibres, cables etc…)
- Use of electronic measurement devices when necessary (DMM/Oscilloscope etc)
- Experience of working in testing or manufacturing environment.
- To highlight any specification or design error to either the engineer responsible or relevant supervisor and rectify if possible
- Ability to read and interpret technical data, i.e engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, assembly drawings etc. is also required.
The role for an Assemble and testing technician will be 50/50 testing and assembling. Testing and manufacturing background is required.
