Working for a global Telecommunications company based in South East London, we are recruiting an experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer.

The company designs, develops & manufactures subsea telecommunications equipment on site, to be installed globally.

Working within the Industrial Engineering department you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical processes, using a mix of Autodesk Inventor 3D +2D AutoCad and Creo CAD.

The role is an ongoing contract position, and would suit an experienced  CREO CAD Engineer ready to hit the ground running & make an impact within the company.

You will be using software packages such as AutoCAD, CREOCAD and Autodesk Inventor to produce quality mechanical designs within time and budget constraints.

The suitable Mechanical CAD Engineer must have previous working knowledge of producing, reading and developing mechanical drawings, translating design to manufacturing processes.

 

The Mechanical CAD Engineer will be working standard office hours (40 p/w, Mon-Fri), with scope for overtime as & when required.

 

Experience Required:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or other relevant/similar discipline)

Excellent computer literacy, using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, CREOCAD, MS Excel

Proficient in mechanical calculations

Knowledge of the engineering design process

Ability to translate design/drawing into manufacturing processes.
