Trainee Assembler
Greenwich SE10
Ongoing contracts 42.5 hours
£9-12 p h

Mechanical assemblers and engineers required, working for a large manufacturing company in south-east London, to produce and assemble deep sea internet cables, from start to finish. You will be working in a team of assemblers to ensure safe, efficient and accurate production of materials.
Some of the duties you may undertake include:
- Working from mechanical drawings
- Using power tools
- Soldering
- Using heavy machinery
- Mechanical Assembly
Experience in the above traits is highly desired, but not entirely necessary.
This is a full-time position, and shift patterns will vary between Monday - Thursday (6am - 5.45pm) or Tuesday - Friday (6am - 5.45pm). After two weeks, shift patterns will rotate to night shifts (6pm - 5.45am) and then rotate as of then on a biweekly basis.
Other benefits include holiday pay, free onsite parking and the use of the site's free gym.
