Resident Liaison Officer

Location: London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

Monday to Friday; 9am - 5pm

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000

Temp-Perm

Our Client, a reputable housing association, is looking for a temporary Resident Liaison Officer to join their busy team working on patches covering Barking and Dagenham area. Your duties as a Resident Liaison Officer will include;

  • Managing properties
  • Having health and safety awareness issues relating to decent home
  • Improvements programme is carried out in occupied properties.
  • Arrange access to premises with minimum disruption
  • Maintaining good relationships with tenants and clients
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and customer care
  • Ensure a smooth and uninterrupted work flow
  • Maintain records on our/client IT systems and produce reports
  • Record resident satisfaction levels
  • Liaise with site staff and clients
  • Visiting residents whilst works are in progress and dealing with any issues/concerns immediately in order to stop escalation/avoid complaints.
  • Carry out administration duties such as start date letters
  • Pre entry visits and company inductions
  • Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms
  • Visiting tenants in their homes and to advise them on when and what work is being carried out
  • Act as the main point of contact and deal with any problems/queries that tenant may have
  • Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations with them
  • Attending and chairing tenant forum meetings to advise tenants of works being carried out
  • Monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
