Material Flow Administrator
North Greenwich
Between £9-£13 p/h
Rotating Shifts - Days & Nights (42.5 hours per week)
Working in a busy manufacturing & production area, for a large engineering site based in Greenwich, you will be responsible for ensuring final products are accounted for & materials flow seamlessly through SAP (MM).
The role will require you to work autonomously on behalf of the department Supervisors, monitoring equipment efficiency and back flushing materials through SAP.
Duties may include;
- Development of process improvements in material and inventory control.
- Optimise flow of materials from supply chain resulting in continually improving inventory turns.
- Improvement of the inventory management.
- Improvement in the material handling functions.
Whilst the site use a bespoke version of SAP MM modules, candidates MUST have existing experience of working with SAP previously, particularly MM (Materials Movement). Candidates without this will not be considered.
Hours of work;
Days (42.5 hours p/w)
Monday - Thursday; 6am - 3.45pm
Friday; 6am - 12.30pm
Nights (42.5 hours p/w)
Monday - Thursday; 6pm - 5.15am
The role is initially a 6 month booking to assist during a busy period in production. The possibility of it being extended past this point will be based on production plans throughout the year, and cannot be determined at this stage. Please bear this in mind when applying.
