Up to £39k per annum
Van and Fuel card provided
40 hours per week
8am - 5pm
Our Client, a large maintenance company, are looking for an Electrician to join their busy team and complete reactive electrical works on a social housing contract.
Duties include:- Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the Regulations
- Remedial works
- Adding new circuits (ring circuits, cooker, fans etc)
- Adding new sockets (minor re-wires)
- General maintenance (changing sockets, light fittings, etc)
- Fault finding
- Fuse board swaps (new regulations have meant some old ones need to be replaced)
Daily responsibilities:- Attend properties to carry out reactive maintenance works and emergency works to repair defective electrical systems
- To carry out electrical works, make safe and repair as necessary in line with client's requirements
- Deliver works with high customer satisfaction and compliant to H&S practices while completing
- Ensure all customer queries are followed up accurately and provide technical knowledge and support where possible
- Correctly complete engineer work reports, certificates, compliance checks as appropriate using a PDA
Qualifications/experience needed:- City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
- 18th Edition
- 2391 Testing and Inspecting
- Able to fault find and install on domestic properties
- Full UK driving licence (manual)
- DBS check will be required
- Previous Social Housing experience
- Good communication skills
