Electrician
Barking/Dagenham
£39k per annum
Perm role - full time
Van and fuel card provided

Our client, a large maintenance company, are looking to employ an Electrician. Your role as an Electrician is to carry out repairs and maintenance work. This work is within social housing, so relevant experience is needed.

Duties include:

  • Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the Regulations
  • Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other statutory legislation
  • Delivery of electrical repairs in both domestic and on-site settings.
  • Testing and inspecting
  • Remedial works
  • Re-wires (full house, bathrooms, kitchens)
  • Adding new circuits (ring circuits, cooker, fans etc)
  • Adding new sockets (minor re-wires)
  • General maintenance (changing sockets, light fittings, etc)
  • Fault finding
  • Planned maintenance
  • Fuse board swaps (new regulations have meant some old ones need to be replaced)


Qualifications/experience needed:

  • 18th Edition - NVQ3
  • 2391 Testing and Inspecting
  • Able to fault find and install on domestic/commercial properties
  • Full UK driving licence
