Monday to Friday - 39 hour week - overtime also available

£25k - £27k dependent on experience

We have an excellent opportunity for an Electrician who is needed to work full-time on a social housing contract based in Medway. This role would be to work within the kitchens and bathroom areas covers repairs and maintenance, so experience in this field is essential.

As an Electrician, your main duties will include:

• Domestic repairs, refurbs and maintenance on social housing properties
• Going in and making properties safe so that repaired maintenance can be booked
• Diagnosing electrical repairs
• Fixing small and minor electrical faults
• All repair maintenance and improvement electrical work as allocated by the supervisor.
• To register and receive all 'Repair and Maintenance Instructions' and forward the daily register to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure that all necessary and relevant information is detailed 'Repair and Maintenance Instructions' to enable the administrator to invoice the client correctly and in a timely manner.
• Carry out work as necessary in accordance with 'Repair and Maintenance Instructions'.

In such circumstances appropriate training will be provided.

You'll need to have:

• C&G 17th Edition qualification (or have an equivalent electrical qualification)
• The ability to be part of the trade operative team carrying out electrical responsive repairs, taking a right first time approach
• Flexibility to go on the rota for the emergency call out service to customers
• The ideal candidate will have own tools to use.
