Technician (SMT Rework)
Location; Windsor
Salary £17,000 and £22,000 per annum
Permanent contract
Hours
Mon - Thu 08:00 to 16:30 with half hour lunch
Fri 08:00 to 13:00 no lunch
Overtime at x 1.3 (Week days and Sat am), x1.5 (Sat pm) and x2 (Sunday)
Working for an up and coming Electronics Manufacturer in Berkshire (Windsor), urgently recruiting a Technician (SMT Reworker) to support production and test with modifications, hand builds and rework.
This includes using PDR re-work equipment for BGA / QFN replacements, XRay inspection equipment and fine tipped soldering irons for 0201 chip components.
Assembly a variety of different PCBAs. Mostly low volume and high complexity.
Support our customers with prototyping (hand builds where required) and carrying out customer modifications.
Diagnose test fails to component level.
Occasionally as needed, as a Technician you may be required to work in other areas assembling production units as needed.
The ideal candidate
- Competent soldering skills - down to 0201
- Ideally, previous BGA rework skills (PDR or Hot Air)
- Be able to demonstrate your attention to detail
