Trainee Manufacturing Assistant
Dover
3-month fixed term contract
Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
£8.91 per hour
Full training provided
The Trainee Manufacturing Assistant role is working in a busy manufacturing department for a multinational company in electrical test equipment.
Full training will be provided for the Manufacturing Assistant position, the ideal candidate will have an interest in electronics and a practical, hands on position.
As a Trainee Manufacturing Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling and packing finished instruments and sub-assemblies,
- Working to daily and weekly targets to ensure customers orders are met on time,
- Ensuring all company procedures are followed,
- Working within a team environment with limited supervision,
- Contributing to improvement activities as part of the development of a lean manufacturing environment,
- Supporting tasks will include booking stock into cells and maintaining stock accuracy.
Hours of work
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible.
