Accounts Assistant
Monday- Friday
09:00am - 17:00pm
Hourly Rate £14:02
Your role will be to provide financial support for one of our contracts in the south west as part of a wider area finance team covering multiple contracts.
The focus of the role will be the cost capture and the resulting P&Ls and Balance sheets and the ability to work as part of an accounting team responsible for the contracts in the South West.
The prime elements of the role will cover:
-Timesheet collation and time cost reconciliation (I-Time)
- External plant reconciliations & queries
- Subcontractor invoice processing
- Intercompany recharges
- Sales invoicing
- Payroll submissions for overtime & one off payments
- Cost corrections
- Expenses review and post
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Resolve queries within deadlines
- Retain a network or contacts across the wider Skanska business
- Liaise with the local commercial team
We're looking for
A person who is a self-starter, accurate with a can do attitude with particular enforces on:
- A strong problem Solver
- Good IT system skills (Excel to pivot tables a must)
- Strong double entry skills
- Accountancy qualification (AAT or above)
- Experience of a fast pace constantly improving environment
