Urgently looking for a Buyer to join our rapidly growing Manufacturing Company based in Byfleet, to support the purchasing and buying activities of the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing function.
The Buyer's duties may consist of;
- Monitor stock levels and customer demand to identify goods to be ordered and place purchase orders with suppliers
- Register all order acknowledgments ensuring compliance with purchase order, amending purchase orders where necessary.
- Progress purchase orders to ensure requested delivery times are adhered to.
- Maintain the works order process
- Sourcing and related supplier RFQ's
- Assisting Finance to reconcile supplier accounts.
- Maintain forecast account ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Management and purchasing of indirect products and services, workwear and safety equipment.
- Maintain daily contact and relationships with suppliers
- Prepare and issue monthly purchasing reports.
- Undertaking supplier visits
