£200 - £300 per day
Urgently looking for an experienced Site Manager. You will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day management on a Static site, managing a mixture of directly employed labour and sub-contractors.
The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of all roofing disciplines including flat, pitched, liquid and leadwork.
Main Duties for the Site Manager:
- Show a good behavioural example in all aspects of health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work and professionalism.
- Taking control of all Health and Safety aspects on site. Prepare CCP, fire plan, traffic management plan and project risk assessments.
- To be responsible for ensuring projects are adequately resourced and managed safely, whilst maximising efficiency.
- Organise and control directly employed labour and sub-contractors.
- The management/organisation & procurement of materials, plant, and labour.
- Ensure deadlines are achieved whilst efficiently managing the construction programme.
- Undertake quality control inspections in accordance with roofing manufacturers specifications and ITP's.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as property managers, headteachers and client surveyors.
- Prepare and summit progress reports to the Contract Manager.
- Look ahead and plans all aspects of the project, identifying potential challenges and bringing imaginative and cost-effective solutions.
Experience and Qualifications:
- SMSTS & First Aid.
- Must be able to demonstrate roofing experience - Roofing NVQ or equivalent qualification desirable.
- Appropriate CSCS card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
