Electrical Technician
Locations; City of London
Temp
Up to £18.50 per hour
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Urgently looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to deliver a highly professional, customer focused service for our static client based in London.
Duties
- participate in Safety Visits, rectifying any safety observations made
- Perform electrical isolation's of circuits, equipment & plant for themselves & others.
- Ensure PPM records and paperwork are up to date and correctly filed in the site log books. Attends reactive tasks and emergency breakdowns as required.
- Ensure all PPM's & reactive works are completed within the specified SLA
- Show understanding and working from mechanical / electrical schematics.
- Co-ordinating electrical shutdowns / reinstatement of services following loss of power.
- Responsible for the supervision of sub-contracted works
- proficient in the use of proprietary computer systems to keep in line with contract requirements. This would include BMS systems, automatic controls, email, word, excel etc.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- electrical City and Guilds qualifications to at least GNVQ/GSVQ level II.
- 17th or 18th Edition IEE Regs.
- City & Guilds Electrical Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation BS 7671 (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds Building Services Accreditation (or equivalent)
- Emergency First Aid
- PAT - Portable Appliance Testing
