Stores Assistant
Location; Chertsey
Contract/ Temp to Perm
Salary £18,000- £20,000 per annum
Working for a Fast Paced service provider based in the Chertsey area within their stores department, within an up and coming automotive establishment reporting into the senior Stores Operative
Working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality service to the internal and external customers on High value items
Main Duties
- Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process,
- Pick production orders as per company processes, undertaking all necessary controls and ensuring 100% picking accuracy.
- Assist with regular and spot stock takes as required.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures.
- Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to internal customers.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
- Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
- Assist in any further duties as requested by the client.
