SHEQ Manager
Location; East London
Salary £40,000- £60,000 per annum
Full Time permanent role
Recruiting on behalf of a Leading Facilities Maintenance company, urgently look to recruit a highly experienced SHEQ Manager to join they're established team within a Rail portfolio, the key responsibility for the SHEQ Manager is to ensure that the operations are legally and contractually compliant and represent excellence in service delivery.
Duties, but not limited too;
- Advising Management on all HS&E, occupational health, and welfare matters
- Auditing places of work, focusing on provision of safe systems of work, safe places of work and attitudes towards HS&E.
- Ensuring that existing SHEQ advisory services are always maintained and available
- Ensuring that the requirements of CDM 2015
- Carrying out investigations into all accidents/incidents, fires and dangerous occurrences, and issuing reports detailing causes and recommended action.
- Ensure that Accident/Incident database (AIMS) is updated on a regular basis and that actions are closed in a timely manner.
- Provide in-house health and safety training of employees as required
- Make appropriate reports to the enforcing authority and meet their representatives when required as directed by the Sector Head of SHEQ.
- Any other duties as requested by the client
Required/ Desirable
- Significant experience in Health & Safety,
- Understanding of TfL certification requirements, including Rule books and TfL/Network Rail standards and knowledge of Sentinel Scheme rules is desirable.
- NEBOSH Certificate, Diploma or equivalent
- Certificate in Environmental Management
