HV AP Electrician
Location- West London
Contract
Shift 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts)
Urgently recruiting for experienced HV AP Engineers, to assist on a critical site in West London on behalf of a Multinational Facilities Maintenance company carrying out PPM / reactive Critical maintenance tasks
Main Responsibilities / Duties Include:
- Acting as site authorised person for all high voltage maintenance tasks.
- Able to prioritisation tasks from PPM's and Helpdesk Requests, reacting to breakdowns and changing priorities
- Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime
- Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on plant.
- Attend diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.
- Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilization of plant and equipment
- Demonstrate a working understanding and control of Risk Assessments and Method Statements,
- Have good knowledge of HV and LV switchgear operation and maintenance
- Understanding the operational requirements of a large estate
Requirements
- Must have an in date High Voltage Authorized Personnel certificate
- HNC/ HND in a relevant electrical engineering qualification preferred.
- Experience working on high voltage distribution equipment
