Test and Assembly Operative
North Greenwich
Ongoing Long Term Contract
6am starts, 42.5 hours per week
£10 - £11 per hour
Working in a busy clean room environment, for a large engineering site based in North Greenwich we are looking for a skilled testing and assembling operative to join a team of Wirers,Test Technicians and Assembly Operatives.
Working to ensure efficient, safe and accurate assembly, wiring and testing of electronic sub-assembly, power feeding equipment, test suites and racks. You will be responsible for the manufacture of high quality products.
Experience will be required in the following taks:
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports
- Fiber Handling
- Hand soldering, and harness and PCB assembly
- Mechanical assembly of sensors, test fixtures and electronics chassis
- Following specific workmanship instructions, multitasking
- Pack finished products for shipment.
- Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Computer Literate: competent with MS Office and Data inputs
Candidates will be required to attend an assessment day on site as well as attending an interview with the client.
