Maintenance Shift Supervisor
Location; East Central London
Salary £39,894 per annum
Shift 4 on 4 off 0700-1900 AND 1900-0700 12 hr shifts
Permanent Contract
On behalf of our Multinational Facilities Management client, we are actively recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Shift Supervisor for a static Commercial site based in East Central London, the successful Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all reactive and planned works within the building are undertaken at a high standard, managing internal and external engineers
Duties for the Maintenance Shift Supervisor may include;
- To carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs and operations of equipment and services
- Ensure that all third-party contractors that are requested to carry out work on site, do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by any company or site-specific procedures.
- Ensure that the Contracts Manager is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable and cost-effective operation of the plant and smooth operation of the plant.
- Assist in producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Assist with the planning of the statutory insurance inspections.
- Complete all administrative functions correctly and promptly.
- Be aware of the key financial targets for the site and, in conjunction with the Contracts Manager, carry out his responsibilities in the most cost-effective manner
- Carry out other duties and projects as delegated or instructed by the Contracts Manager
Qualifications/ Experience required from the successful Maintenance Supervisor:
- Apprenticeship, primary trade qualifications and substantial experience within a building services environment.
- Previously/Current HV/LV Authorised
- C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent
- 17th 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
As part of the Maintenance Shift Supervisor role you will be expected to have/gain the required HV qualification.
