Project/ Site Manager
Location; Kingston
Contract Ongoing
Day Rate £180- £250 per day
Monday to Friday - 80% on site and 20% office based
Urgently looking for an experienced Site Manager to assist with a huge refurbishment based in Kingston,
- Lead delivery teams in delivering multiple sites varying in value from £15K - £2 million
- Ensuring works procedures are in place to assist with control quality where applicable
- Ensure all commercial aspects of the project are managed in a timely and proactive way giving accurate forecast and estimates
- Maintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering capital expenditure projects
- Ensure all work carried out is undertaken safely and actions taken do not endanger members of the public and workforce
- Ensure that all contractor's RAMS are reviewed and signed-off including all task operators
- Carryout full induction to all operatives on site and ensure that qualifications are vetted and checked before any operatives are allowed to embark on any site activities
- Ensure all team members are wearing the correct PPE as stated in company policy
- Ensure that all fire safety and emergency plans and related extracts are created and update throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Monitor plant usage and control hire and off hire of plant
- Carry out near miss reporting, weekly site inspections,
- Understanding and implementing the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets
- Maintain at all times the daily diary and weekly managers reporting procedure
- Liaise with all relevant statutory and governing bodies to ensure that all statutory build requirements are met
- Ensure that project folder is populated and maintained throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Liaise with various consultants - Architects, Structural Engineers, M&E, Arboricultural, etc.
- Review all preconstruction information and site investigations and ensure its relevant application to any given project
- Coordinate and manage all relevant sign-offs, testing and commissioning including collating all relevant O&M extracts
