Senior Production Planner
Location; Feltham
Permanent
Salary; up to £30,000 per annum + Benefits
Our client is leading manufacturing company, looking for a Senior Production Planner to join their growing marketing team.
The duties for the Senior Production Planner will be as follows;
- Planning the sequence of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly and other manufacturing operations.
- Providing costings and estimations following process
- Planning and generating work orders in accordance with procedures
- Ensuring the availability of raw material and sub-components for work orders
- Effectively communicating with the purchasing and manufacturing departments
- Monitoring the execution of production plan and resolving any potential issues in a timely fashion
- Investigating production problems, analysing root causes and providing solutions
- Analysing back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritise, plan and schedule the production operations, communicating production status to managers and customers on a regular basis
- Monitoring production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications
- Analysing delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines
- Maintaining reports for production planning activities and sequences
- Applying Lean Manufacturing
- To effectively communicate all matters relating to delivery schedules
Candidate will require:
- Mechanical engineering experience
- Good IT skills, including Excel
- Planning experience
