Quality Control Engineer
North Greenwich
42 hours per week
Long Term, Ongoing contract
£14 - £25 ph Depending on experience
Shifts possibly starting at 6am
This is a key customer facing Quality Engineering role responsible for ensuring Submerged Products meet product and performance quality requirements for successful customer acceptance and system deployment.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Using dedicated tools and database facilities, to ensure that all Submerged Products produced are manufactured in accordance with defined procedures and meet contractual test specification and requirements.
- Generation of product performance metrics and information for customer facing quality reviews, product or factory audits to support acceptance activities.
- To ensure that procedures concerning management of non-conformities are followed to ensure manufactured assemblies and finally completed products are conforming to requirements.
Required Experience and Education:
- Some experience working with quality
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics and related technologies ideally with test measurement and/or calibration experience.
- A working knowledge of fault diagnosis methods and investigation procedures is desirable; however the successful candidate will be given training in this area.
- Dealing with high volumes of numerical data to analyse information as required during the acceptance process, therefore experience in this aspect will required with strong PC skills.
- Very high attention to detail will be required combined with knowledge of quality auditing methods..

- Have a strong working ethic, keen to learn new skills and genrally hard working.
Interviews will be held at the clients sight and the candidates will be put through a Numeracy and Literacy assessment, followed by a technical assessment. There will then be a standard interview with a hiring manager and supervisor.
