An established Leading facilities maintenance company are looking for a Handy person on a temporary basis to start ASAP
Main Responsibilities for the role include:- Supporting the team with Minor PPM / Reactive tasks
- Fixing and repairing fabric imperfections
- Possible DIY/ building flat packs
- Ensuring H&S is always being adhered to
- Organisation of supplies/maintaining storage
- Ensuring urgent jobs are responded to as quickly as possible
- Fire Alarm Monitoring. Fire Door inspections
- Electrical appliances checks. Emergency Lighting Test
- Legionella Flushing
- Stock take and cleaning of Maintenance stores
- Fire extinguishers check on site
- Temperature monitoring of Hot & Cold-water systems
- Plumbing works including but not limited to resolving blocked drains, changing taps, shower valves, etc.
For this role you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK. You will be required to go through a DBS if successful in the application process
