Senior Business Development Manager
South London
31k-41k dependent on experience + £4,000 travel allowance
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. Working as part of a global business spanning across the world, the Senior Business Development Manager would be joining our client at a very exciting time having the chance to make a huge impact helping the company continue their journey.
What your day will look like:
- Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
- Meet with customers/clients face to face, however this role will be predominantly selling over the phone.
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these when providing a benefit match or solution.
- Think strategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve new business opportunities.
- Draw up client proposals sending a minimum out each week/month.
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
- Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
Skills, know-how and experience:
- Demonstrable track record of success within sales, hitting and exceeding your revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of sales process including influencing, negotiating and closing new business.
- The ability to identify, pitch and present to key decision makers and influencers.
- An understanding of how to develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent forecasting and pipeline development skills.
- A minimum of three years' experience in sales, ideally within the B2B digital sector
- A strong communicator with a clear and distinctive presentation style.
