Greenwich, SE10
Long Term Ongoing Contract
42.5 hrs p/w
£9ph increasing to £10ph after 12 weeks
07:00 - 17:00 Mon - Thursday
07:00 - 12:30 Friday
Working in a busy warehouse & stores area, for a large manufacturing site based in Greenwich, London, you will be reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Working with warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality service to our internal and external customers.
Looking for an individual who has experience working with SAP - mostly with the WM (warehouse management) area. This is the system used on site and would hugely improve your application.
MAIN DUTIES
- Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process, ensuring all ESD, Temperature controlled product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly located within the warehouse.
- Pick production orders as per company processes, undertaking all necessary controls and ensuring 100% picking accuracy.
- Assist with regular and spot stock takes as required.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures.
- Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to our internal customers.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
- Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
- Ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager.
