An exciting role as a maintenance technician has become available, working for a charity organisation within the Borough of Newham, East London.
This role will involve working across multiple sites in the Borough so a Drivers Licence is essential . You will be working within buildings that are open to the general public so a good level of customer service and Health & Safety is essential. You will be given the freedom to work with minimal supervision so good time management and attention to detail is a must.
The duties will be to carry out Daily and weekly maintenance checks and updating site Log Books along with being the first response to Reactive repairs or Breakdown of plant. The ideal candidate would have worked as a Handy person , Janitor or Maintenance person within the Building Service Industry and have a skill set to enable basic repairs i.e. Basic Plumbing , Carpentry and Building Fabric Decor.
