Gas Technical Manager
Central London
Circa 55k +benefits
This client delivers a wide range of tailored planned, testing and the certification of installed services along with a 24 hour multi trade reactive maintenance back up service. Delivered through a predominantly directly employed and stable workforce to both the professionally managed residential and the commercial market sectors they now attend over 2,000 tasks monthly.
Over the past two years, their planned maintenance activities have grown by some 300 whereby they are now seeking to appoint a Technical Services Manager to lead the planned department team.
The role, reporting to the Operations Director A Board member is pivotal to the ongoing growth and success of the department and the company, with quality, first class communications and value for money at the heart of all that they do, they have significant growth plans that will provide an excellent opportunity for the person that shares their passion for all-round service excellence.
Requirements for Role
A strong, proven trades or engineering background with appropriate supporting qualifications.
A thorough understanding of statutory compliance requirements including significant knowledge of the various trade regulations relating to, Gas Safe, NICEIC, BAFE, FIRAS and FGAS
Significant experience in delivering PPM work, occasionally alongside generally smaller, reactive works.
Managing all-round departmental expectations, adopting and promoting flexibility and operating at a technical level within a fast-moving environment.
Possess the ability to work well with others, making clear decisions in line with Board requirements and delivering the agreed operational and financial performance of the department.
Demonstrate 360 degree leadership skills that underpin the overall strategy of the department and that of the Company overall.
Desirable for Role
Current duty holder of one of the following GasSafe, NICEIC, BAFE or FIRAS
IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
CIBSE membership or equivalent.
Some project management experience.
Working knowledge of energy management.
