Working for a leading facilities management company we are looking for a Pest control and Grounds Maintenance Technician to join the team

Duties:

carry out pest control maintenance across site

liaising with SEF management, inspecting the site and the bait stations in place and refreshing pesticides where necessary, and carrying out additional treatments

Carrying out suitable and sufficient surveys of property and environment, collecting evidence of pest activity using dummy baits, tracking dust etc.

Reporting on and providing guidance and support on hygiene deficiencies, potential food source or proofing defects and eliminate possible harbourages.

The Completion of documentation and records, these shall include but not limited too:
Creating a site plan and strategy for pest control across all properties and grounds
Management and control of pest control device locations
Identification of baits and/or monitoring devices on sites
Clearly defined responsibilities for site management
Details of pest control products used, including instructions for their effective use and action to be taken in case of emergencies
Monitoring of pest activity
Details and recording of pest control treatments undertaken

support the overall grounds maintenance team with helping with general maintenance

occasional weekend work may be required

The ideal candidate:

A good level of written and spoken English skills

RSPH/ BPCA Level 2 qualification in Pest Management
Possess a clean UK driving licence or equivalent
Other desirable skills/qualifications include:
Signing, lighting and guarding training. (Chapter 8)
Asbestos Awareness
First Aid at Work
Working at height training.
NPTC / Lanta Qualifications (Trimmer, hedge cutter, chain saw, ride on mowers)
PA1 & PA2 Pesticide Qualification
