Location Stratford - East London

Salary £31000-£35000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hospitality professional to join the team of a Café and Events site based in Stratford.

This role will involve all aspects of the day to day management of both events staged and the running of a Café .

This role will allow you to develop initiatives to drive both sales and service. Be fully aware of current F&B trends, and competition in the local area, and ensure to site is both relevant and competitive .To manage budgets and financial controls and ensure that labour and purchasing is managed to ensure budgeted margins are maintained.

To ensure financial management processes are adhered to. Assist in financial reporting requirements and to manage and guide catering assistants and event staff on a daily basis.

To oversee a smooth service operation throughout the day in the café.

To be conversant with all Company Codes of Conduct and Human Resources Policies and ensure these are followed at all times.To act as an ambassador for the company and our client (LLDC) at all times.To hold a Personal Alcohol Licence and to fill the Designated Premises Supervisor role and to ensure the venue complies to the Alcohol Licence Conditions Liaise with and management of the chosen Security Contractor for necessary events Impact:

The Café Manager will be part of the operational team responsible for the delivery of a first-class service.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

Previous experience in Café / F&B outlet management

Previous managerial experience

Demonstrable food hygiene / health & safety / licensing / F&B product knowledge

Previous experience of working in a team in conjunction with other departments, and working with clients.

Personal Alcohol Licence holder

Event co-ordination experience

Full UK driver's license
