6:00am - 15:45pm
42.5 hrs per week
Working in a busy clean room environment, for a large engineering site based in Greenwich
Working in a team of Wiremen, Test Technicians and Assembly Operatives to ensure efficient, safe and accurate assembly, soldering and testing of electronic sub-assembly, power feeding equipment, test suites and racks. You will be responsible for the manufacture of high quality products.
Previous experience would be beneficial however also willing to invest training in suitable candidates looking to enter the electronics and fibre-optics industry.

Main Duties- Undertake assembly processes, ensuring all ESD product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly built and tested.
- Liaising with other departments and Supervisors to ensure the timely build and transfer of your product.
- Following Engineering diagrams for sub assembly and wiring of all connections.
- High precision soldering
- Wiring the suites for test.
- Building, assembling, and installation of modules that makes up the suites and control panels.
- Assembling different power supply units and installation of cubicles.
- Working on control panels, including complete wiring on the panels using crimp tools
- Rack wiring completed for all the panels connecting to each other as per drawings.
- Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to our internal customers.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
- Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
- Ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required- Possesses a good standard of numeracy and literacy, and IT competent.
- Good understanding of, and commitment to, safe working practices.
- Previous manufacturing, production, technical or engineering experience would be desirable
- Good communication skills and customer focused.
- Previous Soldering experience
