We are currently seeking Manufacturing Storesperson to join our dynamic team within the Store & Assembly Department of a renowned global telecommunications company.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality products while working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Manufacturing Storesperson in the Stores & Assembly Department play a crucial role in the assembly and handling of subsea and land-based telecommunication equipment.

Responsibilities include:

Warehouse Activities: Execute unpacking/packing of materials and maintain accurate records of goods in/out deliveries.
Assembly: Follow documented processes for the safe and accurate mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly of products.
Quality Control: Inspect assembled components to ensure they meet established standards.
Material Handling: Manage the handling, storage, and transportation of materials within the department.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
General Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Qualification: GCSE or Equivalent.
  • Computer Knowledge: Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle hand tools and perform assembly tasks with precision.
  • Technical Experience: Experience using hand tools (e.g., torque screwdrivers) and SAP experience are advantageous.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience with pump trucks, forklifts, or reach trucks is desirable.



This role offers full, paid training provided in our state-of-the-art Training School facilities located on-site in Greenwich, SE London. Previous experience in similar roles would be beneficial, but we welcome candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
