Our Client, a large maintenance company, are looking for a Multi Trades person to join their busy team and complete reactive Multi Trade works on a Social Housing contract.

We are looking for someone with various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix).

Main Responsibilities:

• Basic Plumbing - Blockages and water leaks, replacement of shower controls and taps etc, waste fittings, wc seats, wc cistern repairs, pipe fittings, WM installation etc.
• Carpentry - Locks and casements, overhaul doors, fitting and replacing door closers, window handles, assemble flat pack furniture, fitting shelves, window dressings, kitchen repairs, other minor carpentry repairs
• Electrical - Changing light bulbs, replacing small appliance fuses, troubleshooting minor faults
• Bricklaying
• Tiling
• Plastering
• UPVC repairs

Daily responsibilities:

• Attend properties to carry out works and emergency works
• To carry out works as needed, make safe and repair as necessary in line with client's requirements
• Deliver works with high customer satisfaction and compliant to H&S practices while completing
• Ensure all customer queries are followed up accurately and provide support where possible
• Correctly complete work reports, certificates, compliance checks as appropriate using a PDA

Must have:

• Up to 2 years' experience in Social Housing
• City and Guilds or NVQ 2
• DBS check will be required
• Driving Licence essential (manual)
• Previous Social Housing experience
• Good communication skills
• Able to fault find and install on domestic occupied properties
