Mechanical QC Engineer

Location; Barking & Dagenham

Short term Contract

£20-£21 per hour

Monday to Friday 40 hours

Working for a local authority we are looking for a Mechanical QC Engineer to join the team. The Mechanical QC Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation and auditing of quality assurance framework.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collation of all site and supplier documentation.
  • Inspection of works.
  • Supporting the successful delivery.
  • Undertake investigations into failures, safety irregularities and other incidents and provide reports giving conclusions, causes, and recommendations.
  • Undertake approval and assurance for the changes to process or where urgent remedial action is required
  • Work with site based Engineers to provide solutions to emerging issues.
  • Advice and comment on technical proposals to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, standards and contract documents.
