Mobile Electrician - Site Based
Location - West Dean, Chichester, Occasional travel to London campus (Handful of times)
Salary bracket - upto £37,500 (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday, full time
vehicle provided when on site and for on call only. Vans stay on site.
Currently recruiting on behalf of our client, working within their property maintenance team to assist with the maintenance of their rural estate and educational buildings. within the Urgently looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to deliver a highly professional, customer focused service within a mobile role in the Bridgewater and surrounding areas.
Duties will include:- To carry out maintenance and small electrical installations, complete PPM's, EICR, E Light testing, PAT Testing and minor plumbing repairs.
- Work will include multi-skill elements including basic plumbing, joinery and building repairs as well as core electrical tasks
- To maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment.
- To be part of a close-knit team focused on keeping the Estates buildings maintained to a high level.
- To progress into the role of NIC EIC Qualified Supervisor.
- To assess areas and suggest ways to improve the electrical infrastructure.
- To look toward sustainable alternatives to any work given.
- To take an active interest in the BMS and the Estates Biomass Boiler.
- To undertake Fire Alarm Testing and be able to rectify minor faults.
- To liaise with contractors attending site to undertake specialist services and assist them in completing the tasks.
- To comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Always maintain a strong customer focus.
- This role also includes a call out rota of 1 in approximately every 4 weeks covering evenings and weekends.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- NICEIC Qualified
- City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3 and NVQ Level 3
- You must have an 18th edition certificate
- You must have a valid UK driving licence
You may be required to go through a DBS / Enhanced DBS check
