Technical Services Supervisor
Location; Portsmouth
Salary; up to £38,000 depending on experience
Temp / temp - perm
Monday- Friday 40 hour week
Technical background - essential
Recruiting on behalf of a Multi-National established Facilities Management company on a contract based in Portsmouth the Technical Services Supervisor will be responsible for a five-man multi skilled engineering team.
Duties for the Technical Services Supervisor- Responsible for SHEQ requirements including incident reporting, investigation and SPVs
- Delivery of TBTs and other training
- Vetting RAMS and safe systems of work when supervising subcontractors
- Responsible for maintenance of the F-Gas register
- Completion of AP process within your qualified trade and ensure others complete the same
- Chasing progress updates on spares required for in-house repairs and other procured materials and equipment
- Form part of a full TFM account delivery and adopt a one team working approach with all other service streams
- Any other ad hoc task that are deemed necessary by the TSM and Account Manager for the service delivery of the account
- To ensure the planning and allocation of technical maintenance resources are balanced within the team.
- Maintain the Planned Maintenance Programme for their areas of responsibility and deliver an excellent reactive service to the property portfolio ensuring no financial penalties are imposed
- Manage unplanned lifecycle applications, SLA report completion amongst many other managerial tasks.
- Ensure that the site meets statutory compliance regulations
- Carrying out regular reporting in relation to SLA compliance, problem areas etc, recording actions taken or to be taken and any escalations
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report to the General Manager regarding any dangers; hazards or other defects/issues that may be encountered
- Maintaining ongoing service performance through service and performance reviews including the undertaking of performance reviews / appraisals
- To develop a detailed knowledge of contract specification, work area and work schedules and to allocate and organise staff duties to conform to the service specification
- Undertake and report Service audits and H&S Check sheets, recording and reporting results
- Develop and take duty of care for the Maintenance Teams on a daily basis Liaising with the team - supervisors and engineers
- Working closely with the client contacts ensuring a high level of customer service
Looking for A Time Served Supervisor
- Knowledge of a CAFM system - e.g. Plannon, Maximo, Concept (Essential)
- Knowledge of Trend/Cylon BMS systems (Essential)
- L8 Awareness trained
- Hold valid IPAF or PASMA Certification/Licence (Desirable)
- General working knowledge of the majority of the following: Fire alarm and sprinkler systems, AHUs, DX systems, Hot water heating, Cooling Towers, Shutters and doors, lifts and cranes, pressure systems and pumps, Humidifiers and Dehumidifiers, Lightning protection, Compressed Air, Expansion Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Leak Detection systems, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, bus bars, three phase and nitrogen plant.
