Permanent contract
Hours
- Mon - Thu 08:00 to 16:30 with half hour lunch
- Fri 08:00 to 13:00 no lunch
Working for an up and coming Electronics Manufacturer in Berkshire (Windsor), urgently recruiting a Quality Assurance/ Technical Manager who will be dedicated to looking after the clients, the chosen candidate will be taken away from any involvement in day-to-day production and output so that full focus attention is on quality assurance and process improvements.
- Candidates will need to work well with Operators, Engineers, Managers, Directors and Customers to pull together the knowledge and resources available.
- The candidate will need to bring expertise that will both challenge/ improve the business
- You will need to be hard working and tenacious as you will be hands-on, working independently
- Handle Customer issues as and when they occur require investigation and then corrective and preventative actions taken. This requires data, analysis and a level-headed approach to problem solving.
- You will need technical knowhow and leadership to oversee process improvement throughout the business.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing, 5S and Six Sigma
The ideal candidate:
- Ambition, competency and capacity to develop
- Proven track record within electronics manufacturing that matches the role
- Training / qualifications in Six Sigma and or Lean Manufacturing
- Be able to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Excellent project management skills.
- The capability to teach others.
- Good computer skills. Word, Excel and CAD / Drawing packages.
- Good grasp of English Language (GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent).
